ImpactScope – for which contact information is provided at the bottom of the section – has defined internally the “controller” and “data protection officer” who are responsible for processing and protecting your personal data in accordance with GDPR.

The personal information we collect during  the offset purchase process is used to complete the transaction and deliver your confirmation certificate, if you opt to receive one. In line with the preferences that you stated during your purchase process, we may use such information to provide you with more information concerning our services. We use data processed by Google Analytics to understand how the site is used by our visitors. Finally, we may need to share the personal information we collect to comply with laws and regulations or to respond to lawful requests for information we receive. Our data is stored in the EU.

Modifications to data accessibility

If you have offset the carbon footprint of your digital asset transactions with us, we provide you with the possibility to review, correct or update your personal information. Furthermore, if you are a European resident, under GDPR regulations, you have the right to access the information we hold about you and you have the right to request that your personal information is corrected, updated, or deleted.
